About the Event

... the play addressed women's sexuality and the social stigma surrounding rape and abuse, creating a new conversation about and with women.

V-Day's mission is simple. It demands that violence against women and girls must end. To do this, once a year, in February, Eve allows groups around the world to produce a performance of the play, as well as other works created by V-Day, and use the proceeds for local individual projects and programs that work to end violence against women and girls, often shelters and rape crisis centers.

On February 19, join some amazing women as V-Day Tarpon Springs presents: The Vagina Monologues. Doors open at 1:00 and the play begins at 1:30. This is a 90 minute play with no intermission. You will laugh and you will cry. The cost for this event is $15 at the door with all proceeds going to "Bridging Freedom". This is an 18+ event.

Bridging Freedom’s mission is to combat minor sex-trafficking by bringing restoration to those rescued and victim prevention to those we reach with our message. They educate the community and work with partnering organizations to increase awareness about this tragic issue.

On February 25 Morgan Bauer will have been missing from Atlanta, GA for six years. Morgan is a cold case and believed to have been human trafficked. Morgan is Sherri Keenan's daughter. Our director Amy Silverman chose Bridging Freedom in Morgan’s honor.
